Match Of The Month
Abigail and Ashley have been matched through the Neighborhood Youth Services for a year. Together they have tried many activities and they don't ever seem to have a hard time finding things to do. Sometimes it's just hanging out together at Abigail's house playing games, watching movies, or doing art projects. Cooking for them creates the perfect evening.
Abigail and Ashley like to take part in a lot of the Mentor Duluth and community activities that are offered, like swimming at the YMCA, bowling, going to the Shrine Circus, and having a blast at the Mentor Duluth BBQ.
A couple of their favorite things to do are going for picnics and doing art projects together. They have also gone roller skating, seen movies and plays, gone hiking in Chester Bowl and carved pumpkins. Ashley said one of her favorite times together was taking a ride on the Polar Express train this winter.
These two are a great fit together. Ashley says; "I always have fun with my mentor!" If you see them out together, they'll probably both have big smiles on their faces.

Ski Passes Available
Spirit Mountain Ski Passes Available for Matches!!
Mentor Duluth has available two sets of free lift tickets for skiing or snowboarding at Spirit Mountain. These passes can be used on Thursday nights only from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
Rental for skis is $10.00 per person and $15.00 per person for snowboards. Call 722-4745, ext. 120 to reserve a date to use the passes.
Mont Du Lac Ski passes available for matches!
Mentors can call the Mentor Duluth office to check out passes for you and your mentee to ski or snowboard at Mont du Lac Ski Area for the day. The pass includes free lift tickets and equipment rentals. Call 722-4745, ext. 120 to reserve a date to use the passes!

UMD Men´s Hockey Mentor Duluth Appreciation Night!
We invite Mentor Duluth participants to join in on one of our biggest events of the year! Once again the University of Minnesota-Duluth Athletic Alumni Association is offering FREE tickets to all matches and waiting children when UMD takes on Colorado College.
