Make a child smile.
Who can become a mentor?
Individuals from all walks of life and different backgrounds can volunteer to be a mentor in our program.
Anyone who is 18 years or older can participate in a mentoring relationship. We are looking for individuals who are stable in their employment, personal relationships, residence, and emotional and mental health. All of our mentors are diverse and unique in their interests, careers, families, and experiences. Most importantly, we are looking for people who truly wish to make a difference in the life of a child, and will honor that commitment. We ask mentors to commit for a minimum of one year, and to spend 8-12 hours per month with a child.
