Children We Serve

Mentor Duluth serves youth ages 5 – 18 in the Duluth, Proctor and Hermantown communities. Most are children from single parent families with fewer financial resources. Children typically come to our program through the parent's initiative or are referred by teachers or professionals in the Human Services field. All are in need of another positive, caring adult in their life. At any given time, we have nearly 200 children waiting for a mentor. Unfortunately, it can take up to two or more years before a child is matched in our program.
